Our Story

A queer couple with a dream.

What started as late night conversations on the couch and a growing collection of hand-drawn designs by SJ slowly became something bigger. As the hate aimed at the LGBTQ+ community grew louder and more overwhelming, those conversations became our way of lifting each other up. We kept returning to the same feeling.

Our community deserves better. We deserve warmth. We deserve joy. We deserve a place that feels like home.

We dreamed of creating a clothing brand that affirms who we are, that celebrates queer and trans joy, and that spreads love throughout our community. We wanted to create apparel that is affirming and reminds us that we are seen, we are valued, and we are never alone.

Queer, Trans, and BIPOC founded

In 2023, we turned that dream into reality. We founded Euphoria Threads as a gender-free apparel brand rooted in kindness, inclusivity, and love. Every design we create is our way of giving back, uplifting trans and queer joy, supporting charities we believe in, and making space where everyone under the 2SLGBTQIA+ umbrella can feel empowered, seen, and represented.

We draw strength from the courage of those who have fought for equality and acceptance, from the resilience of those who have faced adversity with unwavering resolve, and from the creativity of those who have embraced their authentic selves in a world that sometimes seeks to silence or suppress them.

As proud members of the queer and trans communities, we understand the importance of community and representation. We draw inspiration from our own identities and experiences, as well as the courage, resilience, and diversity of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community, knowing that together, we are stronger.

SJ MOECKER (he/they)

Hello, I'm SJ, an Asian American millennial who identifies as nonbinary transmasc and use he/they pronouns. My passions lie in art, photography, the outdoors, camping with friends, and exploring the world. If there's a box of vegan chocolate chip cookies nearby, you can bet it won't last long around me. I have 16 years of experience in the custom apparel industry, and am passionate about creating clothing that uplifts and spreads love throughout the community.

MISTY MOECKER (she/her)

Hey there, I am Misty, a white millennial who identifies as agender. I generally use she/her pronouns but any pronouns are fine by me. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and dabbling in various arts and crafts - particularly fiber arts like macrame, embroidery, and tie dye. With a decade of professional leadership experience and over a dozen years working in the custom apparel industry, I'm passionate about translating that to our customer experience and product quality.
